At Home with
Dementia: Upcoming Exhibition and Talk
An artistic installation based on the Adopt a
Care Home evaluation has been created. The evaluation was carried out by,
researcher, Laura Di Bona, and the 'At Home with Dementia' installation has
been created by, artist, Charlie Hill.
The Adopt a Care Home scheme links care
homes with local schools. Its evaluation suggests the scheme has the potential
to increase children’s awareness and knowledge of dementia. Taking part can
also be an enjoyable experience for people with dementia who are in care homes.
Come and see the 'At Home with Dementia' (Adopt
a Care Home) installation as it tours Sheffield with Ignite Imagination’s Reconnect: Science and Art Exhibition event,
it is open to the public from March 16th – March 26th 2015.

goes on within the Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology group.
